Himadri Speciality Chemical Limited is an India-based global specialty chemical company that manufactures carbon materials and chemicals. The company operates in both domestic and international markets, exporting to about 54 countries. Its product portfolio includes specialty carbon black, coal tar pitch, refined naphthalene, advanced materials, sulphonated naphthalene formaldehyde, specialty oils, and power. These products cater to various industries such as lithium-ion batteries, paints, plastics, tires, aluminum, graphite electrodes, agrochemicals, defense, and construction chemicals. The company has five coal tar distillation plants in India and subsidiaries in Hong Kong and China. Himadri has recently expanded into lithium-ion battery components, planning to produce Lithium Iron Phosphate Cathode Active Material. The company focuses on research and development and sustainability in its operations.
