Cummins India Ltd is a manufacturer of diesel and natural gas engines, operating in three business segments: Engine, Power Systems, and Distribution. The Engine segment produces engines from 60 HP for various commercial vehicle and equipment markets. The Power Systems segment designs and manufactures high horsepower engines from 700 HP to 4500 HP for marine, railways, defense, and mining applications, as well as power generation systems from 7.5 kVA to 3750 kVA. The Distribution segment provides products, services, and support solutions through a network of dealerships and service points across India, Nepal, and Bhutan. The company is a 51% subsidiary of Cummins Inc. USA and offers a range of products including generators, alternators, filters, and lubricants. Cummins India has partnerships and joint ventures in various sectors and continues to innovate and expand its product offerings to meet market demands and environmental regulations.
