SBI Life Insurance Company Limited is a joint venture between State Bank of India and BNP Paribas Cardif S.A., established in 2001. It offers life insurance products including individual and group policies, covering participating, non-participating, pension, and unit-linked insurance. The company operates through three segments: Participating, Non-Participating, and Linked. SBI Life has a wide distribution network with 992 offices, over 200,000 Insurance Advisors, and nearly 59,000 Certified Insurance Facilitators across India. The company's product portfolio includes savings plans, protection plans, retirement plans, and online insurance options. As of March 31, 2023, SBI Life reported a Gross Written Premium of Rs 673.16 billion, with Assets Under Management of Rs 3,043.35 billion.
