Muthoot Finance Limited is India's largest gold financing company, headquartered in Kerala. It provides personal and business loans secured by gold jewelry, primarily to individuals who may not have access to formal credit. The company operates through a network of 5,838 branches across 29 states and union territories. Muthoot Finance has several subsidiaries, including Muthoot Insurance Brokers, Muthoot Homefin, Belstar Microfinance, and Asia Asset Finance PLC. The company offers various gold loan schemes and additional services such as housing finance, personal loans, SME loans, vehicle loans, mutual funds, and money transfer. As of March 31, 2023, Muthoot Finance had a loan portfolio of Rs. 14,381 million.
