Shares of Muthoot Finance, Manappuram Finance and Hindustan Zinc traded higher on Friday despite gold and silver prices edging lower in domestic and international markets. According to reports from Moneycontrol, at around 10:10 am, Muthoot Finance shares were trading at ₹3,128.50, up 2.33% on the BSE. Manappuram Finance gained 2% to ₹339.10, while Hindustan Zinc advanced 2.83% to ₹543.45.
In the international market, spot gold slipped 0.11% to $4,136.20 per ounce, while spot silver declined 0.16% to $60.65 per ounce, as reported by Moneycontrol. Bullion prices came under mild pressure in early trade as investors remained cautious following recent volatility triggered by the collapse of US-Iran ceasefire talks, which had strengthened the US dollar and weighed on precious metals.
On the domestic front, MCX gold futures for August delivery fell 0.28% to ₹1,44,900 per 10 grams, while September silver futures eased 0.17% to ₹2,26,000 per kilogram, according to Moneycontrol reports. Despite the dip in bullion prices, investors remained optimistic on select gold financing and mining stocks, keeping the three companies in positive territory.
