Company insights, generated from the most recent coverage.
Bansal's framing that volatility lifts activity while regulatory disruption suppresses it means a volatile Q3 could mask the CAS fix entirely. Volume normalisation will be hard to measure even if it happens.
Equity derivatives fell to 44.8% of Groww's Q2 FY27 income from 56.9% a year earlier, with segment revenue down 14.3% QoQ. The denominator is the story: MTF rose to 10.1% of income from 4.7%, so flat F&O volumes will still read as a shrinking derivatives business.
Management flagged Q3 FY27 as the first clean read on whether the Dec 7, 2026 CAS fix restores F&O volumes. Q2 is contaminated by CAS friction, so don't extrapolate its derivatives decline.
