Company insights, generated from the most recent coverage.
Trading just 5.6% below its 52-week high after a ~45% seven-session surge leaves little cushion; average analyst target of ₹635 is barely above the market price, so the re-rating has effectively consumed consensus fair value.
Debt/equity of 0.01, current ratio 2.17 and a 2.09% dividend yield mean Sun TV can fund sports-franchise acquisitions and keep paying dividends without external capital — the balance sheet is what makes the multi-league cricket build-out self-financing.
Sun TV denied the sports/IPL demerger on Sep 30, 2026 after BSE sought clarification, yet the stock kept rallying (+4.48% to ₹626.75 on Oct 5, +35.6% in a month). Market is holding a restructuring option premium that the company itself has not confirmed.
