The Quarter story
The two most recent quarterly results, compared side-by-side.
JSW Infrastructure strengthens its balance sheet and port throughput while managing rising debt and margin compression.
Cash and Bank Balance grows from ₹3,088 Cr in Q2 FY26 to ₹9,863 Cr in Q1 FY27 — stronger liquidity supports future capex.
Gross Debt increases from ₹4,898 Cr in Q2 FY26 to ₹7,094 Cr in Q1 FY27 — rising leverage requires active monitoring.
Net Worth expands from ₹9,836 Cr in Q2 FY26 to ₹17,375 Cr in Q1 FY27 — equity base solidifies over the period.
Consolidated EBITDA Margin slips from 53.3% in Q4 FY26 to 48.7% in Q1 FY27 — profitability faces near-term pressure.
Third-Party Cargo Share rises from 46% in Q2 FY26 to 48% in Q1 FY27 — revenue diversifies away from group reliance.
Return on Capital Employed eases from 14.7% in Q1 FY26 to 13.4% in Q1 FY27 — capital efficiency gradually declines.
Logistics Container Traffic jumps from 20 TEUs in Q2 FY26 to 86 TEUs in Q4 FY26 — multimodal hubs gain steady traction.
UAE Liquid Terminal Volumes drop from 1.76 MT in Q3 FY26 to 0.17 MT in Q1 FY27 — regional demand contracts sharply.
Port Revenue climbs from ₹1,086 Cr in Q1 FY26 to ₹1,295 Cr in Q4 FY26 — top-line growth remains consistent across terminals.
JNPA Liquid Terminal Activity falls from 0.44 MT in Q2 FY26 to 0.28 MT in Q1 FY27 — liquid cargo flows weaken.
Company insights, generated from the most recent coverage.
The ₹7,503 Cr QIP being 6.7x oversubscribed by long-only funds and pension money means JSW Infra pre-funded its FY27-28 capex and is unlikely to need dilutive capital raises near term.
Khurja Rail Terminal's NCLT-backed acquisition of NCR Rail Infrastructure for ₹467 Cr gives JSW Infra a ready-made North India rail node instead of greenfield build time, accelerating the multimodal thesis.
Today's 4.91% jump to an all-time high is not a single-news move — it is the market re-rating a stack of catalysts (ICD win, rail acquisition, QIP, Moody's upgrade, Q1 volumes) at once, which makes the breakout more durable than a one-off spike.
