The company develops, manufactures, and sells pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products, including branded generics, generic drugs, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), and nutraceuticals. It has a portfolio of over 800 brands in India and operates in more than 40 international markets, with the United States as its key focus. Alkem is ranked the fifth largest pharmaceutical company in India by domestic sales. The company's product offerings span various therapeutic areas such as anti-infective, cardiology, neurology, and gastroenterology. Alkem has invested in research and development, filing numerous Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDAs) with the US FDA.
