Strategic partnerships in semiconductor manufacturing, AI infrastructure and electronics supply chains have strengthened India-Taiwan technology ties in recent years, with Taiwan providing technical expertise and manufacturing capabilities while India offers a large consumer market, raw materials and a skilled workforce. While Taiwan and China have established infrastructure for manufacturing, India is developing similar capabilities through government initiatives, though Jain noted that "it's a good initiative, but that will take some time to give results."
