Realty firm Gaurs Group has acquired 35-acre land parcels along Yamuna Expressway from ICICI Bank for around ₹700 crore to develop residential projects as part of its expansion plan. According to reports from Business Standard, the company bought three land parcels in Sector 18 along the Yamuna Expressway, which connects Noida and Greater Noida to Agra, at an auction from ICICI Bank. Gaurs Group Chairman Manoj Gaur confirmed the acquisition, stating the land has been acquired in an open auction from ICICI Bank Ltd on an as-is, where-is basis.
As reported by Business Standard, Gaurs Group plans to launch 3-4 housing projects by March next year at Noida and Yamuna Expressway. The company plans to launch the project on the 24-acre land parcel, with the largest plot measuring 24 acres among the three acquired parcels. The Group has already launched one housing project on Yamuna Expressway during this fiscal with a total revenue potential of ₹1,900 crore. During the last fiscal year, the company clocked sales bookings of ₹5,500 crore. Looking at the current market context, this acquisition aligns with the broader real estate sector's momentum, as India's real estate market is valued at USD 585 billion in 2026 and projected to reach USD 926 billion by 2031.
Recently, Gaurs Group has launched a luxury residential project in Sector 22D, Yamuna Expressway with a revenue potential of ₹1,900 crore. Located near the Noida International Airport (Jewar Airport), the 11.8-acre development will comprise approximately 1,088 apartments. The project, named Gaur Alaris, adds to Gaurs Group's premium residential portfolio, which includes The Islands by Gaurs at Jaypee Greens, Legacy by Gaurs and Trecento Residences by Gaurs at Pari Chowk, Greater Noida, Gaur NYC Residences in Wave City, and Gaur Chrysalis on the Yamuna Expressway.
In a significant development, Gaurs Group has entered into a partnership with Seaform Germany, a European manufacturer of premium modular kitchens and wardrobe solutions. Valued at ₹150 crore, the expanded association will extend Seaform's solutions across Gaurs Group's under-development and forthcoming residential projects, covering more than 10,000 premium kitchens in a period of 5 years. The partnership will cover kitchens across the group's current portfolio of projects - The Island by Gaurs, Legacy by Gaurs, Gaur NYC Residences, Gaur Chrysalis and Gaur Alaris, as well as forthcoming projects in Crossing Republik, Sector 129 and Sector 150. As per Gaurs Group CMD Manoj Gaur, the company will continue to expand in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad and will launch at least four projects in the current financial year, with Yamuna expressway remaining their focus area.
