According to property registration documents accessed by Zapkey, Amitabh Bachchan has leased three upper floors of the Signature building on Link Road in Andheri West to nutrition brand TruNativ F&B Private Limited for a reported monthly rent of ₹33 lakh. The five-year lease commenced on August 15, 2026, while the registered leave-and-licence agreement was executed on August 7. The three floors together have a carpet area of approximately 8,428 sq ft, with the monthly rent working out to around ₹392 per sq ft. At the starting rent rate, Bachchan would earn ₹3.96 crore in the first year alone before annual increases take effect.
The total rental value over the five-year lease period is estimated at around ₹21.88 crore. As reported by Zapkey, TruNativ has also paid a security deposit of ₹1.98 crore according to the agreement. The lease includes an annual escalation clause, under which the monthly rent will increase by 5% every year during the five-year term. The agreement also provides TruNativ with exclusive access to nine designated parking spaces at the property. This premium rental value reflects the high demand for commercial properties in Oshiwara and Andheri West, areas that house several entertainment and business offices.
This latest transaction adds to Bachchan's commercial real estate holdings in Mumbai, following his previous lease of four office units in Mumbai's Lotus Signature building to Warner Music Pvt Ltd for ₹17.30 lakh a month in 2023. The Warner Music lease commenced in March 2024 and included 12 dedicated parking spaces. The Bollywood actor and TruNativ could not be reached for comment on the latest transaction. Bachchan's growing real estate footprint in Mumbai demonstrates his continued investment in commercial properties across the city's prime locations.
According to reports from Zapkey, this latest transaction adds to Bachchan's commercial real estate holdings in Mumbai. The actor has also been associated with property investments and leasing arrangements in other parts of the city. Beyond Mumbai, Bachchan's real estate investments extend to Ayodhya, where he reportedly purchased a 2.67-acre land parcel in March 2026 for ₹35 crore from The House of Abhinandan Lodha. At the HT Real Estate Summit, Abhinandan Lodha, founder and CMD of The House of Abhinandan Lodha, recalled how Bachchan had personally contacted him about buying land in Ayodhya, with the call received around 3 am while he was in Australia. The purchase marked his third investment in Ayodhya with the developer.
