Accenture Solutions has secured 2.72 lakh sq ft of Grade-A office space at House of Hiranandani's commercial project in Mumbai Metropolitan Region. According to latest reports, the global technology and consulting giant has finalised a 10-year lease with a monthly rental of ₹1.9 crore. This significant deal was facilitated by real estate consultant JLL India and registered recently, marking one of the major commercial leasing agreements this year. The leasing agreement involves 2.72 lakh sq ft of office space at the 'Centaurus' commercial tower in Hiranandani Estate township project in Thane. As per Business Standard, the technology and consulting major will occupy three contiguous floors - the 19th, 20th and 21st levels - in the commercial development, with capacity to accommodate around 2,500-3,000 employees.
The long-term lease agreement will generate substantial revenue for House of Hiranandani. As reported by The Economic Times, the company will receive payment of nearly ₹269 crore over the entire tenure. The 21-storey commercial tower features 1.9 million sq ft of built-up area and is located within the 375-acre Hiranandani Estate township in Thane. The project currently hosts major companies including Tata Consultancy Services, BNP Paribas, IDFC First Bank, ICICI Bank, Bayer CropScience, and WeWork. According to Business Standard, interior fit-outs at the premises are currently underway, with Accenture expected to commence commercial operations from November.
The leasing deal comes amid mixed market conditions for office spaces. According to JLL data, gross leasing of office spaces across seven major cities declined 4 per cent to 37.90 million sq ft in January-June this year from 39.45 million sq ft in the year-ago period. However, Mumbai showed strong performance with leasing rising 18 per cent to 5.88 million sq ft from 4.99 million sq ft. House of Hiranandani group, founded by Surendra Hiranandani, has delivered more than 51 million sq ft of area across projects in Mumbai, Thane, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. As per Business Standard, the transaction reflects growing demand from large enterprises for sizeable office spaces in emerging commercial corridors of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
The deal also reflects the increasing preference among occupiers for distributed or multi-operational hubs that provide access to expanding talent pools while allowing companies to scale their operations. According to Business Standard, Mumbai recorded Grade-A office leasing of 4.7 million square feet in the first half of 2026, down 6 per cent year-on-year. Leasing activity during the period was driven by the banking, financial services and insurance sector. The Centaurus project features floor plates of approximately 95,500 square feet and 32 high-speed passenger elevators, making it a prime commercial destination in the MMR region.
