As reported by ETInfra, the project is planned with a capacity of 750 MW and development is expected to commence in phases from 2028. The initiative aligns with Maharashtra's ambition to become a $1 trillion economy by 2030 and is expected to support growth in sectors such as data centres, semiconductors and clean energy while attracting associated infrastructure investments.
The proposed 750 MW integrated green data centre park will be developed with a defining feature of using 51 percent green power for maintaining its operations. As reported by ETInfra, the project is envisaged with dedicated power infrastructure, including facilitation for two incoming feeders from independent sources to the data centre park substation. The agreement provides for facilitation by the state government in obtaining necessary permissions, registrations, approvals, clearances and fiscal incentives in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
