Eicher Motors has approved a significant ₹1,225 crore Phase-I greenfield expansion in Andhra Pradesh, as reported by market sources. The expansion will add up to 4.5 lakh motorcycles per year by FY30, effectively raising the total Royal Enfield capacity to 24.5 lakh units per year. Additionally, the company reported strong Q1 performance with net profit rising 21.4% to ₹1,463 crore and revenue increasing 31.5% to ₹6,632 crore compared to the previous year.
Vedanta Oil & Gas delivered strong Q1 results with net profit of ₹945 crore versus a loss of ₹103 crore in the previous year, according to post-market earnings. The company's revenue grew 8.5% to ₹2,507 crore and EBITDA increased 61.2% to ₹814 crore with margins expanding to 32.5% from 21.9%. The company achieved volume growth of 5% and international business growth of 15% in INR terms. EBITDA rose 10.9% to ₹741 crore with margins at 19.7%.
