According to reports from CNBC TV18, the stock movement reflects positive investor sentiment toward the company's renewable energy sector expansion.
The company received a purchase order for a 2,500 Kwp ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant from a domestic entity with its registered office in Uttar Pradesh. As reported by CNBC TV18, Zodiac Energy will be responsible for the complete execution including supply, installation and commissioning of the solar power plant. The project is targeted for completion by December 31, 2026, subject to the terms of the purchase order.
According to the company's exchange filing reported by CNBC TV18, this order is expected to strengthen its presence in the renewable energy sector and contribute to revenue over the project execution period. The order covers a 2,500 Kwp ground-mounted solar PV power plant and includes execution of the solar power system as per the specifications and scope of supply outlined in the purchase order.
