Tata Consultancy Services and Google Cloud have officially launched a new Gemini Experience Center (GEC) in Mexico City, marking a significant milestone in their strategic partnership. According to latest reports, this launch represents TCS's ninth Gemini Experience Center worldwide and second in Latin America, following the first GEC established in São Paulo, Brazil in 2025. The partnership aims to help organizations bridge the gap between AI experimentation and implementation while reducing time required to achieve desired business outcomes. Javier Carrique, Head of Partners & Alliances for Latin America at Google Cloud, highlighted the Gemini Experience Center as a significant example of the partner ecosystem's role in enabling businesses to adopt and apply AI with confidence, stating that the center aims to unlock new opportunities and drive innovation for local businesses. The launch is part of TCS's global strategy to expand its network of innovation centers and represents the company's goal to become the world's largest AI-powered technology services company.
The new GEC is equipped with over 3,000 industry- and context-aware AI agents built by TCS along with Gemini Enterprise. These AI agents are specifically built to seamlessly integrate into customer environments, enabling organizations to transform ideas into practical, scalable solutions. During the launch, several AI-led solutions were demonstrated, including intelligent process assessment, fraud investigation for financial institutions, automated insurance claims processing, and generative AI-powered data acceleration. The center combines TCS's consulting, engineering and innovation capabilities with Google Cloud's technology ecosystem to enable customers to transform across the entire AI value chain, from infrastructure to intelligence. Marcelo Wurmann, CEO of TCS Latin America, stated that the center brings advanced AI capabilities closer to enterprises in Mexico, enabling them to turn ideas into practical, scalable solutions, while Javier Carrique emphasized that unlocking AI's full potential depends on giving businesses the right environment to adopt and apply AI with confidence.
According to the company announcement, this new center strengthens Mexico's position as an innovation hub for Latin America and forms part of TCS's global strategy to expand its network of AI innovation centers. The facility supports the development of industry-specific solutions tailored to the region's business needs, with focus on accelerating AI adoption and business transformation across industries including financial services, retail and consumer goods, manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences, and energy and utilities. The launch reaffirms TCS's commitment to advancing responsible AI adoption by fostering collaboration among businesses, specialized talent, and technology to scale digital transformation in the country. Javier Carrique noted that the Gemini Experience Center in Mexico is a powerful example of how the partner ecosystem is helping turn the vision of AI adoption into reality.
TCS has maintained a strong presence in Mexico since 2003, currently serving more than 260 clients through a workforce of over 12,000 associates. With operations in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Querétaro, and Monterrey, Mexico represents a strategic market for TCS in Latin America. The new GEC, located in TCS's Mexico City office, will empower organizations in the region with advanced AI capabilities and help accelerate the development of solutions that drive innovation, productivity, and data-driven decision-making.
