
According to reports from Business Standard, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) reported a standalone net loss of ₹72.15 crore for the quarter ended June 2026, representing a significant improvement from the net loss of ₹324.98 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company's sales performance showed positive momentum, rising 6.09% to ₹301.57 crore compared to ₹284.25 crore in Q1 FY2026. As per latest reports, the company also announced the extension of its redeemable preference shares' redemption period, indicating strategic financial management decisions during the quarter.
As reported by Business Standard, the company's operating profit margin (OPM) improved to 54.67% in the June 2026 quarter, compared to 51.56% in the same period last year. The profit before tax (PBT) declined to ₹72.15 crore from ₹321.18 crore in the previous year's corresponding quarter, while profit before depreciation and tax (PBDT) increased by 86% to ₹38.88 crore from ₹284.23 crore in Q1 FY2026. According to the latest financial data, total expenses increased to ₹139.00 crore for the quarter ended June 2026, compared to ₹134.54 crore in the preceding quarter. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) was ₹164.90 crore for the period.
According to the financial data reported by Business Standard, the company demonstrated substantial improvement in its financial performance on a year-over-year basis. The net loss reduction of ₹252.83 crore from the previous year's quarter represents a 78% improvement in the company's financial position. The sales growth of ₹17.32 crore and operating margin expansion of 311 basis points indicate operational efficiency improvements during the quarter. Revenue from operations showed slight increase from ₹295.54 crore in the previous quarter to ₹301.57 crore in the current quarter, while total income grew from ₹297.28 crore to ₹303.90 crore.

Sonigda currently serves as the Company Secretary of Tata Teleservices Limited, the holding company of TTML. The Board recommended the appointment of M/s T. P. Ostwal & Associates LLP as Statutory Auditors for a five-year term from the conclusion of the 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) in 2027 until the 37th AGM in 2032.
