Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL), the fast-moving consumer goods arm of Reliance Industries, has set an ambitious target to achieve ₹1 lakh crore revenue by FY30. According to reports from Business Standard, Isha Ambani Piramal, Whole-Time Director of Reliance Retail, announced this goal at RIL's 49th annual general meeting on June 19. The company currently recorded ₹22,000 crore revenue in FY26, representing significant growth potential over the next decade. As reported by Business Standard, RCPL has more than doubled its business over the last year, positioning itself among the fastest-growing FMCG companies in the country. According to CNBCTV18, what took several established FMCG players decades to build, RCPL has accomplished in just four years, emerging as one of India's fastest-growing consumer goods platforms and among the quickest-growing consumer businesses globally.
Reliance Retail and RCPL will drive growth through two new platforms focused on manufacturing and exports, as announced by Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani at the company's annual general meeting. The advanced manufacturing platform will span categories including beverages, daily essentials and fresh fruits and vegetables, with plans to modernise the largely unorganised fresh produce segment by leveraging sourcing, cold-chain and distribution networks. According to Business Standard, the initiative aims to reduce wastage, improve hygiene and food safety standards, and deliver better value to farmers, retailers and consumers. Under the manufacturing platform, the retailer has partnered with 21 clusters across India to produce garments, while planning to expand into the electronics sector to provide affordable products including smartphones, smart eyewear and connected wearables.
The company plans to build a future-ready garment manufacturing ecosystem with supplier partnerships across 21 manufacturing clusters nationwide to produce quality garments at competitive costs. Additionally, RCPL will expand domestic manufacturing of affordable electronics including smart eyewear, televisions, smartphones and connected wearables, while maintaining strong focus on customer service. As reported by Business Standard, this diversified manufacturing approach positions the company across multiple consumer categories.
RCPL has outlined a ₹30,000 crore investment plan to build one of Asia's largest networks of AI-driven integrated food parks. According to Business Standard, Isha Ambani reported that ₹10,000 crore has been invested to date, with beverage production now spanning 12 states through high-speed bottling lines in multiple greenfield plants. The company is building food parks across India with modern, integrated facilities spanning biscuits, chocolates, staples and packaged foods, designed to drive scale efficiencies through cross-category integration. The advanced facilities will be AI-driven, robotics-enabled and engineered for lasting cost leadership.
RCPL's distribution reach has expanded significantly to over 3 million outlets and more than 5,000 distributors in the three years since starting the business. As reported by Business Standard, the company is expanding into North-East, West Bengal, Bihar and other geographies. Its brand Campa crossed ₹4,700 crore in sales in FY26 and became the fourth-largest carbonated soft drinks brand, with a double-digit market share in key markets. Independence, its daily essentials brand, also saw its sales touch ₹2,600 crore. The company's portfolio is now available in more than 40 countries through exports and franchise-led distribution, strengthening its position as an emerging global Indian consumer brand. According to CNBCTV18, RCPL achieved this growth despite geopolitical uncertainties that drove up raw material and packaging costs and disrupted global supply chains, absorbing these cost pressures internally without passing on higher costs to consumers.
