
According to the latest financial results approved by the Board on May 26, 2026, Pennar Industries delivered robust financial performance for FY26. The company reported a 16.22% year-on-year increase in PAT to ₹138.81 crore for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026. For the quarter ended March 31, 2026 (Q4FY26), PAT rose 15.35% to ₹41.04 crore. Total income from operations grew 12.35% to ₹3,666.32 crore for the full year, while Q4 income increased 2.26% to ₹933.70 crore. The company's earnings per share (EPS) for Q4FY26 increased to ₹3.04 from ₹2.64 in the same quarter last year, with full-year EPS rising to ₹10.29 from ₹8.84 in FY25.
According to reports from Business Standard, Pennar Industries will invest ₹5.80 crore in a single tranche in the paid up equity share capital of ZAP91 Solar India. The joint venture company is a subsidiary of Pennar Industries, focusing on the manufacture and sale of solar modules. This strategic investment is specifically designed to fund the completion of the module manufacturing plant, including commissioning and commencement of commercial production.
The company's financial performance reflects significant operational improvements across its diversified engineering and customised engineering products verticals. Pennar Industries achieved a 15.51% increase in EBITDA to ₹401.32 crore in FY26, with Q4 EBITDA surging 15.27% to ₹114.06 crore. The PAT margin improved to 4.44% in Q4FY26 from 3.94% in the corresponding period of the previous year. Notably, the working capital cycle has been reduced to approximately 74-76 days from the previous 90-95 days, driven by technology-led operations including IoT, CNC, and MES systems.
According to the report, ZAP91 Solar India will focus on the manufacture and sale of solar modules as its core business activity. This joint venture represents Pennar Industries' strategic entry into the renewable energy manufacturing sector through a dedicated solar modules company. The additional investment of ₹5.80 crore will enable the joint venture to establish its manufacturing capabilities in the solar sector, supporting the company's diversification strategy into renewable energy solutions.
