
Jayant Infratech has secured a Letter of Acceptance worth ₹13.31 crore from West Central Railway for railway overhead electrification works. According to reports from Business Standard, the contract involves the design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of overhead equipment in the Itarsi-Jhujharpur section. The project scope extends to power supply arrangements, modification of existing OHE system and associated general electrical services in connection with the Itarsi-Nagpur 3rd Line Project. The contract value is specified as ₹13,31,88,572.19 (₹13.31 crore 88 lakh 57 thousand 572 and 19 paise) inclusive of all duties and taxes.
The project is scheduled for completion within nine months from the date of issuance of the Letter of Acceptance, with completion targeted by April 2027. As reported by Business Standard, the company clarified that the contract is not a related-party transaction and that neither its promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in the award. Jayant Infratech specialises in the design, supply, and commissioning of 25KV, 50Hz single-phase traction overhead equipment.
