According to reports from NDTV Profit, Interarch Building Solutions is currently raising ₹250 crore through a qualified institutional placement (QIP), with ₹200 crore specifically earmarked for its Andhra Pradesh plant expansion. The remaining ₹50 crore will be utilized to establish a new manufacturing unit in Gujarat. Executive Director & CEO Manish Garg confirmed that the Andhra plant has significant revenue potential of ₹1,000 crore, making it the primary focus of the capital deployment strategy.
As reported by NDTV Profit, the company is expanding the Andhra Pradesh facility in phases with specific commercialization timelines. Phase 2 commercialization is expected to commence in March, while Phase 3 will begin in January 2028. Garg indicated that the company will achieve full commercial operations in the next fiscal year, with civil works for the new line already at advanced stages. The Phase 2 expansion alone is projected to generate ₹100 crore in revenue potential.
According to Garg's statements to NDTV Profit, the company has ambitious expansion plans targeting doubling of capacity over the next five years. The capital allocation for the Gujarat unit represents part of this strategic growth initiative to meet future demand across operations. Garg emphasized that the company can realistically achieve this capacity doubling target through focused investments in manufacturing infrastructure and operational capabilities.
As reported by NDTV Profit, Garg acknowledged that margins are unlikely to see immediate improvement due to ongoing capital expenditure for new plants and capacity expansion. He also expects steel usage to increase going forward as the company scales operations. Despite these challenges, the company remains focused on increasing investments in talent and technology alongside its manufacturing capacity expansion initiatives.
