Godrej Properties Ltd. has partnered with Tata Projects for core and shell construction works worth approximately ₹1,100 crore across three premium luxury residential developments along Golf Course Road in Gurgaon. According to reports from Essential Business Intelligence and The Economic Times, this represents the company's largest single construction contract award to date. The deal covers three of Godrej's upcoming projects - Godrej Sora, Godrej Astra, and Godrej Samaris - all located along one of India's most competitive and quality-conscious luxury residential corridors. In a regulatory filing on Friday, the company officially announced the partnership with Tata Projects for the three luxury housing projects.
The partnership covers three key developments with specific locations and dimensions. Godrej Samaris, the newest addition to the trio, is an upcoming launch in Sector 53, Gurugram, spanning 7.41 acres. As reported by Essential Business Intelligence, the collaboration marks the first-ever partnership between Godrej Properties and Tata Projects, bringing together two of India's most recognised brands in the real estate sector. The combined contract value of approximately ₹1,100 crore covers core and shell construction works across all three upcoming projects, with the allocation specifically targeting the high-margin Golf Course Road corridor. This strategic move represents a shift from fragmented local contractors to a single Tier-1 institutional EPC partner for NCR projects.
Commenting on the partnership, Godrej Properties Chief Operating Officer Sandeep Navlakhe emphasized the strategic importance of the collaboration. According to Essential Business Intelligence, Navlakhe stated that the partnership is a strategic step towards strengthening execution across some of the company's most important luxury developments. He noted that Golf Course Road represents one of India's most competitive and quality-conscious residential markets, demanding strong focus on precision, scale, and consistency. The partnership leverages Tata Projects' construction expertise to deliver premium quality across Godrej's luxury housing portfolio, while mitigating labor and supply chain risks that often plague large-scale residential developments. By securing a Tier-1 partner for its most valuable projects, Godrej Properties is transitioning from a high-growth developer to a high-reliability institutional player.
The collaboration aims to enhance execution quality, improve delivery timelines, and increase construction efficiency across Godrej's luxury portfolio in the highly competitive micro-market. As reported by The Economic Times, Tata Projects brings its large-scale execution capabilities to these premium projects, having previously delivered marquee infrastructure projects including the New Parliament Building in New Delhi, Noida International Airport, and Mumbai's Atal Setu. Tata Projects stated that the collaboration aligns with its focus on delivering sustainable and future-ready urban developments, looking forward to setting new benchmarks in design, quality, and liveability through the projects. The company added that the move reflects its continued strategy of partnering with leading construction firms to support its growing pipeline of high-end urban residential developments across key markets.
