
Electrosteel Castings shares rallied 3.05% to ₹82.31 following the company's announcement of the resumption of its Mini Blast Furnace (MBF) Production Facility at the Khardah Works, West Bengal from 24th June 2026. According to reports from Business Standard, the company has successfully completed the maintenance work at the MBF facility and the Main plant, with operations at the main plant resuming from 25th June 2026.
As reported by Business Standard, the company had shutdown its MBF Production Facility at Khardah Works Unit and main plant from 14th June 2026 for a period of approximately 10 days to undertake maintenance work. The maintenance work was completed ahead of schedule, enabling the quick resumption of operations. The company is engaged in manufacturing Ductile Iron (DI) pipes, Ductile Iron Fittings (DIF) and Cast Iron (CI) pipes, and produces and supplies pig iron.
According to Business Standard, the company's consolidated net profit dropped 90.5% to ₹15.98 crore in Q4 FY26, compared with ₹168.31 crore in Q4 FY25. Revenue from operations declined 12.2% YoY to ₹1,492.74 crore in Q4 FY26. The financial results reflect the operational challenges the company faced during the maintenance period.
