The strong market response reflects investor confidence in the company's robust quarterly performance and growth prospects. The results come against the backdrop of expectations of tighter sugar supplies in India, which could support domestic prices. Last month, Prashant Biyani, Vice President of Institutional Equity at Elara Securities, described Balrampur Chini Mills as a structural three-to-five-year growth opportunity and recommended buying the stock. Biyani had indicated a potential upside of around 30% over the next 18 months to two years, citing rising sugar prices and the company's upcoming polylactic acid (PLA) project, which was expected to launch in December.
