
Bajaj Auto's total vehicle sales rose 30 per cent year-on-year to 4,74,677 units in July 2026, as reported by Business Standard. The Pune-based automaker had sold 3,66,000 vehicles in July 2025, demonstrating robust growth across both export and domestic markets. This strong performance reflects the company's continued expansion in international markets and sustained demand in the domestic two-wheeler segment. The company's international business grew 29% to 184,264 units from 142,629 units, with two-wheeler international sales increasing 27% to 165,744 units from 130,070 units and three-wheeler sales rising 51% to 26,537 units from 17,560 units.
Exports surged 39 per cent to 2,54,485 units during the month from 1,82,857 units a year earlier, according to the stock-exchange filing. Two-wheeler exports recorded particularly sharp growth, rising 42 per cent to 2,22,972 units from 1,56,968 units in the corresponding period last year. The strong export performance indicates successful international market penetration and growing demand for Bajaj Auto's products in overseas markets. Exports accounted for the larger share of Bajaj's two-wheeler business, continuing the company's strong performance across key international markets.
Domestic sales grew 20 per cent to 2,20,192 units from 1,83,143 units in July 2025, as reported by Business Standard. Domestic two-wheeler sales increased 19 per cent to 1,65,747 units from 1,39,279 units, showing steady recovery in the domestic market. The commercial vehicle segment also performed well, with sales growing 23 per cent to 85,958 units compared with 69,753 units in the same month last year. Domestic CV sales rose 24 per cent to 54,445 units, while exports grew 22 per cent to 31,513 units, indicating balanced growth across both markets.
Bajaj Auto reported exceptional financial results for Q1 FY27, with standalone profit after tax increasing 42.3% year-on-year to ₹2,983 crore, as per Business Standard. The company is expected to introduce multiple updated Pulsar motorcycles, with the new Pulsar 125 already reaching dealerships ahead of its official debut. Leaked images reveal significant upgrades including a new LED headlamp, redesigned tail lamp, rear monoshock suspension and a larger colour instrument cluster. Bajaj has scheduled a launch event on 12th August, where more updated Pulsar models are expected to make their debut, further strengthening its presence in the highly competitive commuter and premium commuter motorcycle segments.
