Ahmedabad-based Advait Energy Transitions Ltd has secured a ₹51.62 crore turnkey contract from Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (DGVCL) for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 11KV 55mm² AAAC Medium Voltage Covered Conductors (MVCC) and related works. The order was received on July 6, 2026 and covers the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of conductors along with accessories and additional poles, where required. The project will be executed within 15 months under the Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana-2 (VKY-2) scheme, with the order value including all applicable taxes.
Under the contract terms, DGVCL will provide PSC/RSJ poles while their accessories will form part of Advait Energy's scope of work. As reported by Business Standard, the company confirmed that the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and that neither the promoter nor promoter group companies have any interest in the awarding entity. The contract does not fall under related-party transactions, ensuring proper governance standards. The company has confirmed that the order was received in the normal course of business and disclosed the information in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligation and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The contract award comes on the back of Advait Energy's robust financial performance in Q4 FY26. As reported by Business Standard, the company's consolidated net profit surged 55.68% to ₹17.67 crore in Q4 FY26 compared with ₹11.35 crore posted in Q4 FY25. Revenue from operations zoomed 18.04% year on year to ₹228.19 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2026. Advait Energy Transitions is engaged in providing products and solutions for power transmission, substation, telecommunication, and renewable energy infrastructure sectors, while also undertaking EPC and turnkey projects related to power transmission and telecom infrastructure.
This contract win follows Advait Energy's announcement last month regarding its wholly-owned subsidiary, Advait BESS Bhesaan Private Ltd, which executed a battery energy storage purchase agreement (BESPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. According to CNBC TV18, the agreement covers development of a standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) project with an aggregate capacity of 150 MW/300 MWh. The project is located in the vicinity of the 220 kV Bhesan AIS substation of GETCO in Gujarat and is supported by viability gap funding through the Power System Development Fund (PSDF).
