
Global investors Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments) have acquired shares worth ₹138 crore in SG Mart, the building material solutions provider, via open market transactions on July 14. According to reports from Moneycontrol, PSP Investments, a part of the government of Canada, purchased 10 lakh shares (0.79 percent stake) in the B2B platform for building materials and construction supplies for ₹64.99 crore at a price of ₹649.98 per share. Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority acquired 11.23 lakh shares (0.89 percent stake) at ₹650 per share, valued at ₹72.99 crore.
The investment activity triggered significant market movement, with SG Mart stock climbing 5 percent to ₹654.15 amid high volumes on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). As reported by Moneycontrol, the stock traded above all key moving averages, indicating positive technical momentum following the substantial institutional investment. The trading activity reflects strong investor interest in the building materials sector and the company's growth prospects.
The transaction also involved significant stake changes in other companies. According to Moneycontrol reports, HR Global Manufacturing sold 22 lakh shares (1.74 percent stake) in SG Mart for ₹143 crore at a price of ₹650.02 per share. Additionally, HR Global Manufacturing acquired 5 lakh shares in Yatharth Hospital & Trauma Care Services for ₹40.73 crore at a price of ₹814.72 per share, while Classic Enterprises sold the same number of shares at ₹814.35 per share for ₹40.71 crore. Classic Enterprises also sold 3.24 lakh shares in SG Finserve at a price of ₹628.57 per share, amounting to ₹20.39 crore.
The investment activity extended to other sectors, with Radiowalla Network shares rallying 4.87 percent to ₹25.85 amid big volumes despite ace investor Ashish Kacholia-backed Bengal Finance & Investment selling 1.44 lakh shares (2.04 percent stake) in Radiowalla for ₹35.28 lakh at a price of ₹24.5 per share. As reported by Moneycontrol, Amritaanshu Agrawal acquired 1.47 lakh shares (2.08 percent stake) in Radiowalla at ₹24.54 per share, amounting to ₹36.12 lakh. According to the March 2026 shareholding pattern, Bengal Finance held 2.22 percent stake, and Ashish Kacholia held 3.24 percent shares in the radio company.
