It manufactures and markets a wide range of pharmaceutical formulations including generics, branded generics, complex products, over-the-counter drugs, and active pharmaceutical ingredients. The company has a diverse portfolio covering multiple therapeutic areas and dosage forms. Sun Pharma has a strong presence in India and the US, which account for about 70% of its revenue. It operates 43 manufacturing facilities worldwide and invests 7-8% of revenue in R&D annually. The company has expanded through acquisitions and licensing deals to strengthen its specialty and generic portfolios. Key specialty products include Ilumya, Winlevi, Cequa and others in dermatology, ophthalmology and oncology. Sun Pharma supplies medicines to over 100 countries and has manufacturing facilities across six continents.
