SJVN Ltd is an Indian hydroelectric power generation company with diversified operations in conventional and non-conventional energy forms and power transmission. It has an aggregate generation capacity of 1912 MW, making it India's largest operational hydroelectric power generation facility based on installed capacity. The company has expanded into wind and solar power generation, with projects in various states including Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. SJVN also engages in power trading and consultancy services. Originally established as a joint venture between the Government of India and the State Government of Himachal Pradesh, SJVN has since expanded its operations both domestically and internationally, with projects in Nepal and Bhutan. The company has been granted Mini Ratna Category I status and is listed on Indian stock exchanges.
