Company insights, generated from the most recent coverage.
At ~₹139 Cr the new tranche is under 1% of Natco's market cap, so clinical failure is survivable while success opens a multi-billion-dollar organ-shortage market — asymmetric risk-reward.
eGenesis did the world's first FDA-sanctioned porcine kidney transplant in a living patient (Mar 2024) plus two more with positive outcomes — de-risking the platform Natco is funding.
The 8% compounded convertible-note structure gives Natco downside protection (debt-like floor return) while retaining equity upside if eGenesis succeeds — a low-regret way to access breakthrough tech.
