Avanti Feeds Ltd is a leading manufacturer of shrimp feed in India, engaged in aquaculture operations. The company manufactures and markets shrimp feed to farmers, operates a Vannamei hatchery, and processes and exports shrimp. It has a technical and marketing partnership with the THAI UNION Group of Thailand. Avanti Feeds has six shrimp feed manufacturing units and one hatchery. The company also operates a 3.2 MW Wind Mill Project in Chitradurg, Karnataka, selling the generated power to BESCOM. Avanti Feeds has two subsidiaries: Avanti Frozen Foods Private Limited, which focuses on shrimp exports, and Svimsan Exports & Imports Private Limited. The company holds stakes in two power projects: Srivathsa Power Projects Pvt Ltd and Patikari Power Private Limited. Avanti Feeds products include raw shrimp, cooked shrimp, and value-added shrimp products, which are exported to various international markets.
