Aavas Financiers Ltd. is a registered Housing Finance Company in India, focusing on providing affordable housing finance to low and middle-income customers in semi-urban and rural areas. The company offers home loans for purchase, construction, extension, and repair of residential properties, as well as loans against property and MSME loans. Aavas operates through 371 branches across 13 states, including Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh. The company uses technology and data analytics for customer onboarding, underwriting, loan monitoring, and risk management. Aavas sources funding through various means, including term loans, securitization, non-convertible debentures, and refinancing from the National Housing Bank. As of March 31, 2023, Aavas had an Assets under Management (AUM) of Rs 14,167 crore and received a Rs 1,044 crore line of credit from the National Housing Bank in 2022-23.
