IT services firm Hexaware Technologies Ltd announced a multi-year partnership with Anthropic on Thursday (October 8), making it a Preferred Partner in Anthropic's Claude Partner Network. According to reports from CNBC TV18, this partnership will bring Claude to the core of Hexaware's AI-native platforms, specifically Zerovity and AgentVerse, which features more than 600 pre-built agents. The collaboration will focus on delivering outcome-based services across IT operations and software engineering, aligning with enterprises' growing preference for result-oriented purchases rather than traditional effort-based services.
Hexaware has already certified more than 1,100 professionals on Claude, as reported by CNBC TV18. The company will expand Claude training across its delivery teams and work with Anthropic on go-to-market activities, joint solution development, and customer deployments. Vinod Chandran, Chief Operating Officer of Hexaware, emphasized that as a Preferred Partner, the company can leverage this certified capability to serve clients from the first proof of value to production at scale. Siddharth Dhar, President and Global Head of AI at Hexaware, noted that the partnership enables clients to achieve production outcomes more quickly by putting Claude at the heart of Zerovity and AgentVerse.
Clients can engage with the offerings through two distinct approaches, according to CNBC TV18. The first model allows clients to start with business outcomes, targeting technical debt, security vulnerabilities, backlogs, support tickets, process bottlenecks and license costs through Hexaware's Zero Friction Enterprise offerings. Alternatively, clients can begin with development tools by connecting their development tools directly to the Zerovity harness, which applies token optimization and in-built software delivery agents. This initiative is anticipated to deliver outcome-based AI services spanning IT operations and software engineering.
Hexaware reported consolidated revenue of ₹3,845.2 crore for Q2CY26, up 17.9% YoY, demonstrating strong financial performance alongside the strategic partnership announcement. Shares of Hexaware Technologies Ltd ended at ₹513.00, up by ₹7.80, or 1.54%, on the BSE, as reported by CNBC TV18. The company's EBIT margins stood at 13.6% in Q2CY26, with expectations of potential improvement from this level. Era Sahni, Head of Partnerships – International at Anthropic, highlighted that many enterprises want a partner who can help bring Claude into production and find the highest-value use cases across every team.
The partnership builds on Hexaware's existing relationship with Anthropic, including authorization to resell Claude through Amazon Bedrock, positioning the company to leverage its established trust with IT operations and software engineering clients. The collaboration focuses on helping enterprises put Claude in employees' hands and use it to run systems their business depends on, with Anthropic continuing to be acknowledged for its robust and reliable AI models that prioritise safety and interpretability. This strategic deepening of the relationship reflects a maturing approach to enterprise generative AI, positioning Hexaware to capture high-margin contracts from highly regulated sectors like financial services and healthcare, where Claude's safety-first design holds a competitive edge.
