Hexaware Technologies shares surged more than 12% following the company's announcement of a multi-year partnership with Anthropic to integrate Claude AI into its platforms. The stock has now extended its winning streak to a fifth consecutive session, gaining 17% over the period and hitting the day's high of ₹574.50 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). As reported by ET Now, the partnership introduces two client engagement routes through Hexaware's Zero Friction Enterprise offerings, which target technical debt, security vulnerabilities, development backlogs, support tickets, process bottlenecks and software licensing costs. Alternatively, clients can connect their development tools directly to the Zerovity platform, which uses token optimisation and built-in software delivery agents to support engineering workflows.
The partnership introduces two client engagement routes through Hexaware's Zero Friction Enterprise offerings, which target technical debt, security vulnerabilities, development backlogs, support tickets, process bottlenecks and software licensing costs. Alternatively, clients can connect their development tools directly to the Zerovity platform, which uses token optimisation and built-in software delivery agents to support engineering workflows. As reported by ET Now, Hexaware will use Claude to deliver outcome-based services across IT operations and software engineering, as enterprise clients increasingly buy results rather than effort. The collaboration integrates Claude into two Hexaware platforms: Zerovity™, its AI-native engineering platform, and AgentVerse™, its agent build and governance platform with more than 600 pre-built agents. Hexaware has more than 1,100 Claude-certified professionals, with the alliance focusing on go-to-market initiatives, joint solution development, and customer deployments.
Vinod Chandran, Chief Operating Officer, Hexaware, highlighted the company's comprehensive approach to Claude integration, stating that "Our teams have already certified more than 1,100 people on Claude. As a Preferred Partner, we can take that capability to clients together with Anthropic, from the first proof of value to production at scale." According to ET Now, the partnership will enable Hexaware to expand Claude training across its delivery teams and collaborate on go-to-market initiatives, joint solution development and customer deployments. Era Sahni, Head of Partnerships - International, Anthropic, noted that "Hexaware's customers already trust them with IT operations and software engineering. That is where much of this work gets done and where Claude can have an outsized impact."
Hexaware Technologies has erased almost 24% of investors' wealth over the previous 12 months, despite recent gains from the Anthropic partnership. The company lowered its CY26 revenue growth guidance to 6-7% from its earlier expectation of at least 7.6%, citing delays in the ramp-up of large deals and a weaker macroeconomic environment. However, the firm maintained its EBIT margin guidance of 13-14% for the year. For the second quarter, Hexaware reported sequential constant currency revenue growth of 4.4% and year-on-year growth of 6.1%. Its EBIT margin improved to 13.6% from 13% in the previous quarter, while net profit declined 6.1% sequentially to ₹330.2 crore from ₹351.6 crore.
According to SBI Securities' Sudeep Shah, Hexaware Technologies witnessed a sharp rebound and is now trading above key moving averages. The RSI has registered a sharp uptick, indicating a pickup in bullish momentum, while the DI+ has crossed above DI− on the ADX indicator, suggesting that buyers are gradually gaining control. As reported by Business Standard, the ₹590–600 zone is likely to act as immediate resistance, with a decisive and sustained breakout above ₹600 potentially extending the ongoing pullback in the near term. On the downside, the ₹520–515 zone is likely to act as immediate support. The technical indicators suggest that the stock's recent momentum could continue if it sustains above the key resistance levels.
Hexaware Tech share price is up 13% over the last six months, compared to a 6% fall in equity benchmark Sensex and a 10% decline in the BSE IT index. However, year-to-date, the stock is down 29% compared to a 15% drop in Sensex and a 26% decline in the BSE IT index. The stock hit a 52-week high of ₹808.40 on 4 December last year and a 52-week low of ₹400.35 on 12 March this year. According to AT Research and Risk Managers' Aditya Thukral, the stock is trading with negative crossovers between its major EMAs and is approaching resistance areas. He noted that "There is a high probability that the stock might start falling from this resistance again, in case the stock is able to cross the resistance of ₹585 convincingly, it could move higher in corrective structure towards ₹720; however, the chances of that to happen is low."
