Shadowfax Technologies has announced the launch of its Channel Partner Program, marking a strategic expansion beyond its digital self-serve model into an assisted distribution network. According to reports from Business Standard, the company plans to onboard 1,000 Channel Partners across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities over the next three years, with a strategic focus on Tier 2 cities and key manufacturing clusters. This expansion enables SMEs and offline-first businesses to access logistics and assisted onboarding closer to where they operate, as announced on September 3, 2026. The program builds on Shadowfax's strong Q1 FY27 performance, where the company delivered 24.7 crore orders and grew revenue 65% year-on-year to ₹1,358 crore. The initiative is designed to boost customer acquisition and revenue growth by targeting tier 2 cities alongside key manufacturing areas, with metros and Tier 1 cities also covered, but primarily focusing on Tier 2 cities and manufacturing clusters.
While Shadowfax 360 enables sellers to self-onboard in minutes, many sellers in Tier 2 India still require on-ground assistance. As reported by Business Standard, Channel Partners - local entrepreneurs in these markets will help onboard sellers, place and manage orders on their behalf through the Shadowfax 360 portal, and extend credit to them. This addresses the digital and working-capital barriers that can prevent small sellers from shipping to customers across the country. Through one local touchpoint, sellers can access an integrated portfolio offering of express parcel, reverse logistics, bulky shipments through Prime Large and critical logistics via Shadowfax's CriticaLog arm, which specialises in high-value and time-sensitive delivery. The program specifically targets the needs of small and medium enterprises in Tier 2 markets who require local assistance in logistics operations.
According to the announcement, partners can get started without investing in infrastructure or inventory, while Shadowfax manages pickup and delivery across its network of 16,372 pin codes. The program specifically targets the needs of small and medium enterprises in Tier 2 markets who require local assistance in logistics operations. Shadowfax is rolling out its first Shadowfax-branded walk-in stores – serving businesses and individual customers alike – with Chandigarh and Lucknow among the initial markets, followed by expansion into other Tier 2 cities and manufacturing clusters across India. The initiative is expected to be a meaningful driver of customer acquisition across Tier 2 cities, contributing to volume growth and revenue diversification.
The Channel Partner Program represents Shadowfax's strategic pivot to become a distribution engine for Bharat, as stated by Praharsh Chandra, Whole-time Director and CBO. According to the company's announcement, the program is expected to be a meaningful driver of customer acquisition across Tier 2 cities, contributing to volume growth and revenue diversification. The initiative targets brands and SMEs in Tier 2 cities that still sell offline and need a trusted local partner to go online, as well as individuals who walk into stores to send parcels.
