India-based artificial intelligence company Innefu Labs has successfully raised $30 million in a Series B funding round led by Singapore-based growth equity firm Panthera Growth Partners. The capital injection was completed through a combination of primary and secondary transactions from Panthera's second fund, as the company scales its sovereign AI platforms and prepares for an initial public offering. The funding will specifically support the company's proprietary Agentic AI platform, establish a dedicated Physical AI (robotics) wing, and develop secure, domain-specialized language models for high-trust environments.
The investment comes as Innefu Labs has achieved consistent revenues above ₹100 crore, benefiting from increased domestic procurement driven by India's sovereign defence initiatives. The company has secured a growing pool of multiple contracts valued at over ₹100 crore each across defence, intelligence, law enforcement, and revenue intelligence operations. This commercial momentum reflects the company's strong market position in the national security AI sector, with the proceeds funding Innefu's next phase of global market expansion alongside deep-tech research and development anchored in its AI-first, sovereign capabilities.
According to Panthera Growth Partners, the investment decision was based on Innefu Labs' proprietary technology, deep domain expertise and proven track record in high-stakes, mission-critical environments. CEO Tarun Wig emphasized the strategic importance of localized defence technology, stating that the company's vision is for India to never depend on external technologies for national security. The company has built native, AI-powered software that addresses critical challenges in national defence and enterprise security infrastructure, focusing on high-tech research and development within national and cyber security domains.
Innefu Labs, founded in 2010 by Tarun Wig and Abhishek Sharma, serves a diverse client base including defence and intelligence organizations, law enforcement agencies, financial intelligence units, BFSI companies, and Fortune 500 corporations. The company has deployed more than 100 installations across the Indian subcontinent, Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Notable deployments include India's first National Terrorism Data Fusion Centre, Southeast Asia's largest operational Intelligence Fusion Centre, revenue intelligence fusion platforms, predictive policing platforms, and indigenous open-source intelligence systems for high-trust investigative operations. The company has also made initial successful forays in the Middle East, with the investment coming amid accelerating domestic procurement cycles driven by the Government of India's Atmanirbhar Bharat mandates.
