B2B commerce platform OfBusiness has achieved a remarkable transformation in its apparel business, recording a more than three-fold jump to ₹3,002 crore in FY26 compared to ₹843 crore in FY24. According to company statements, this growth has positioned apparel as the company's fastest-growing vertical, with the segment now representing 15.7% of its total commerce business compared to just 4.6% in the previous period. The company, which is preparing to file for an initial public offering, has demonstrated how its model scales effectively when combining manufacturing capability with deep customer relationships and global market access.
OfBusiness now supplies seven of the world's top 10 apparel retailers, including Uniqlo, Adidas, Skechers, Michael Kors and Doen. The company operates across commerce, financing and revenue generation for SMEs, with its apparel vertical now sitting alongside metals, chemicals and food processing as one of its four core verticals. As reported by the company, the scale-up has been driven by expansion across South India, spanning Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, while exports have expanded to more than 70 countries over the last two years.
The company combines sourcing with owned manufacturing capacity, anchored by Bengaluru-based Indian Design, which OfBusiness acquired last year. According to the company statement, the expansion has pushed OfBusiness's overall employee count past 30,000, double from the previous year, with the apparel manufacturing build-out across South India, Delhi NCR region and Bangladesh. The company's growth trajectory in apparel has outpaced its other three core verticals, demonstrating the significant potential of this business segment.
