Bengaluru-based quick commerce platform HomeRun has successfully raised ₹60 crore in a Series A funding round led by Sorin Investments. According to reports from The Hindu BusinessLine and Entrepreneur.com, Sorin Investments invested ₹40 crore in the round, while the remaining capital came largely from Titan Capital Winners Fund, led by Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal. Other participants included Sparrow Capital, Consumer Collective by Atrium, and Helios Holdings. This funding comes just three months after HomeRun secured ₹9 crore in a seed round co-led by Titan Capital and Sparrow Capital in November 2025.
As reported by The Hindu BusinessLine and Entrepreneur.com, HomeRun plans to utilize the raised funds to expand product categories and scale its dark-store network. The company will also invest in direct sourcing, supply chain operations, and technology infrastructure. The platform aims to expand into more cities and deepen engagement with contractors, designers, and residential communities. The latest injection of capital will be used to expand HomeRun's product categories, enhance its sourcing and supply chain capabilities, and scale its dark-store infrastructure. Additionally, the company will make investments in fulfilment technology aimed at improving delivery reliability and operational efficiency.
According to The Hindu BusinessLine and Entrepreneur.com, India's building materials market is estimated at approximately ₹90 billion and is projected to reach nearly ₹150 billion by 2028. HomeRun, which was launched in 2024, operates a quick-commerce platform for construction and home-improvement materials, delivering cement, plywood, electrical, plumbing, hardware, adhesives, and finishing products within 60 to 90 minutes through a hyperlocal retail network. The company positions itself as a competitor to both traditional retailers and other emerging players in the construction supply space, such as IBO and Material Depot, by leveraging technology to optimize sourcing and logistics. By combining localised inventory, last-mile delivery and transparent pricing, HomeRun aims to bring greater reliability and efficiency to material procurement in the large but fragmented building materials market.
As reported by The Hindu BusinessLine and Entrepreneur.com, Pukhraj Grewal, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of HomeRun, emphasized that procurement uncertainty can inflate costs and delay projects. He stated that the company is building infrastructure to bring reliability, transparency, and speed to the construction materials category. Speaking about the company's vision, Pukhraj Grewal said, "We are building a platform that simplifies the procurement of construction materials for both homeowners and contractors. Our quick commerce model allows us to deliver quality materials at the right time, eliminating the frustrations that come with delays and opacity in pricing." Grewal noted that the company has refined its operating model in Bengaluru and plans to expand to new cities, stating that this capital will help strengthen the network and deepen supply capabilities. Subeer Monga, Partner at Sorin Investments, highlighted that India's retail market for building materials remains fragmented, and HomeRun is addressing a mission-critical gap by bringing speed, trust, and predictability to procurement. Shiv Kapoor, Vice President at Titan Capital Winners Fund, said the firm has backed HomeRun since its early stage and expressed confidence that the construction industry supply chain is ripe for change.
