Realty firm TDI Infratech Ltd has announced a ₹75 crore investment to develop a luxury hotel in Panipat, Haryana. According to reports from The Economic Times, the company has signed an agreement with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to manage the upcoming 53-key hotel. The project forms part of the company's mixed-use project 'TDI Connaught Estate' and is expected to open in the second quarter of 2028. The hotel is currently under development and is strategically located within the NCR growth corridor, positioning it as a significant commercial and transit hub.
As reported by The Economic Times, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts will oversee management of this luxurious 53-room establishment, which will be nestled within the TDI Connaught Estate. Akshay Taneja, Managing Director of TDI Infratech, stated that this planned investment reflects the company's long-term confidence in Panipat's evolving economic landscape. He emphasized that the addition of Ramada by Wyndham strengthens the ecosystem at TDI Connaught Estate and aligns with their vision of delivering high-quality, future-ready infrastructure. The collaboration underscores the growing momentum in India's hospitality sector, where enhanced infrastructure, industrial growth, and increasing domestic travel are fuelling demand for internationally branded hotels beyond major metropolitan markets.
According to The Economic Times, Rahool Macarius, Market Managing Director - Eurasia, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, highlighted that Panipat and the wider Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets across North India continue to present strong growth opportunities for Wyndham. He attributed this growth to improving infrastructure, rising commercial activity and increasing demand for quality, branded hospitality. The property will cater to business travellers, transit guests, and small-scale meetings and events, designed to address the rising demand for quality accommodation in emerging business destinations. TDI Infratech has delivered more than 100 residential, commercial and retail projects so far in North India.
The upcoming development is anticipated to boost local employment opportunities and stimulate economic activity, further strengthening Panipat's evolving hospitality and commercial ecosystem.
