
Kriti Sanon, along with her sister Nupur and mother Geeta, has successfully exited their residential property investments in Mumbai's Andheri West. According to documents reviewed by Square Yards, the Sanon family's four apartments were acquired by filmmaker and casting director Mukesh Chhabra for a total consideration of ₹8.9 crore in April 2026. All four deals were registered on April 24, 2026, marking the completion of this significant real estate transaction that has attracted attention for its scale and notable buyer involvement.
The sale comprised four apartments within the Raheja Classique complex in Andheri West. As reported by Square Yards, two larger units were sold for ₹3.23 crore each, spanning 654.23 sq ft in built-up area and 545 sq ft in carpet area, with one car parking slot. The smaller units were sold for ₹1.21 crore each, measuring 246.06 sq ft in built-up area and 205 sq ft in carpet area. Each transaction involved stamp duty of ₹19.41 lakh and registration charges of ₹30,000. The remaining two smaller apartments attracted stamp duty of ₹7.29 lakh each.
According to Square Yards, the family's total investment in the four properties was approximately ₹4.31 crore. Geeta Sanon had purchased two flats in July 2013 for a combined ₹1.40 crore, while Kriti and Nupur Sanon acquired the remaining two apartments in June 2017 for around ₹2.90 crore. With the latest sale valued at ₹8.9 crore, the properties have appreciated by nearly ₹4.6 crore, translating into a gain of nearly 107% over a holding period ranging from nine to 13 years.
Andheri West is among Mumbai's most sought-after residential and commercial micro-markets, offering a mix of premium housing, strong social infrastructure and excellent connectivity. The locality is well connected by the Western Express Highway, Link Road, the suburban railway network, and the Mumbai Metro, providing easy access to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Its proximity to major employment and entertainment hubs such as SEEPZ, MIDC, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) and Film City continues to drive housing demand. The buyer, Mukesh Chhabra, is one of Bollywood's most prominent casting directors, known for discovering and nurturing new talent. According to Square Yards, he also made his directorial debut with Dil Bechara (2020), the adaptation of The Fault in Our Stars. On the work front, Kriti Sanon will soon be seen in Homi Adajania's directorial Cocktail 2, where she will share the screen with Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna. The Sanon family includes Kriti Sanon, who made her acting debut in 2014 and has become one of Bollywood's leading actresses, while her sister Nupur Sanon is an actress and singer. Kriti Sanon is also an entrepreneur with interests in the beauty and wellness sectors.
