According to recent market data, the stock reached an intraday high of ₹66.88 before retreating to ₹63.90 per share. With a market capitalization of ₹8,872.24 crores, the stock surge reflects strong investor optimism about the company's expansion into Uttar Pradesh's commercial real estate market.
In its press release on Wednesday, post-market hours, Embassy Developments announced the signing of a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Uttar Pradesh under the Invest UP framework. The proposed development includes around 2.5 to 3.0 million square feet of premium office-led commercial space with an estimated investment of nearly ₹1,500 crore. The project will be taken up under the state's Invest UP initiative, subject to the required approvals. The MoU was signed in Bengaluru in the presence of key government officials and company executives.
According to the company statement, the MoU marks an important step in Embassy Developments' planned entry into Uttar Pradesh's commercial real estate market. Embassy Developments Limited is a leading real estate developer with operations across seven cities and a portfolio of more than 40 projects.
