
Brigade Group has announced the opening of PVR INOX Cinemas at Arcadia, Brigade Cornerstone Utopia on August 28, 2026. According to reports from The Hindu BusinessLine, the multiplex features six auditoriums with a seating capacity of 949 seats across approximately 42,000 sq. ft. spanning two floors. The cinema is strategically located within the retail zone of Brigade Cornerstone Utopia, designed to provide contemporary cinema experiences while offering residents another socialization and leisure destination within their neighborhood. The facility includes celebrity recliners and lounger seats, and introduces PVR INOX's new food court concept, integrating dining and hospitality into the cinema-going experience.
The opening of PVR INOX Cinemas at Arcadia represents Brigade Group's fourth multiplex in the city. Sunil Munshi, COO, Retail - Brigade Group, emphasized that the multiplex addition is part of their strategy to create a comprehensive environment where food and films converge in a convenient and engaging destination. The company believes PVR's presence enhances the overall appeal of Arcadia visitors and expects the combination of everyday retail and experiential offerings to make Arcadia at Brigade Cornerstone Utopia an integral part of the local community's lifestyle. As per The Hindu BusinessLine, the property aims to position itself as a community lifestyle destination rather than a conventional retail or entertainment venue.
The multiplex is located within the retail zone of Brigade Cornerstone Utopia, positioning it as a key entertainment destination. The facility brings together retail shopping and cinema experiences under one roof, creating what the company describes as a well-rounded environment designed to serve the local community's entertainment and socialization needs. The cinema is now operational and available for booking through online platforms, with show timings and ticket rates available on platforms like BookMyShow. The retail zone covers approximately 2.5 lakh sq. ft. of leasable area, with existing tenants including Third Wave Coffee, Chaayos, Theobroma, McDonald's, Burger King, GigaEats Food Court, Bhartiya Jalpan, and Si Nonna's.
