
Shriram Wealth is planning to expand beyond its existing high-net-worth individual (HNI) client base and target customers with investable assets of ₹10 lakh to ₹2 crore over the next 12-18 months, according to managing director and CEO Vikas Satija. As reported by The Economic Times, the company currently focuses on clients in the ₹2 crore-₹25 crore segment and will gradually look at serving a wider set of customers with wealth management solutions.
The company plans to leverage the Shriram Group's distribution network of nearly 4,400 branches to expand its wealth management services to Tier-II and Tier-III cities. According to Satija's interview with The Economic Times, the company doesn't want to restrict itself and will utilize the group's extensive branch network for expansion into new markets.
Shriram Wealth plans to introduce artificial intelligence-based solutions over the next 3-6 months, as reported by The Economic Times. The company has not yet deployed AI across its operations, but plans to implement these solutions within the next six months to enhance service delivery and client experience.
In June 2025, Shriram Group announced its entry into the wealth management business through a joint venture with South African financial services company Sanlam, with Sanlam holding a 50% stake in the venture. As reported by The Economic Times, the wealth management firm is working towards setting up 50 centres pan-India to onboard 500 wealth professionals with an AUM of ₹50,000 crore in the next five years.
Shriram Wealth currently has around 170 employees and plans to increase its employee base to 220 by the end of FY27, according to The Economic Times.
