Multi-cap and flexi-cap PMS strategies dominated July's top performers, with six of the 10 best portfolios delivering monthly returns of more than 5%. According to reports from The Economic Times, Amaltas Asset Management's Strategic Opportunities Series 1 led the pack with a 10.54% return for the month ended July 31, 2026. Pluswealth Capital Management's PlusWealth Catalyst, the only multi-asset strategy in the top 10, followed with a 9.07% return, while White Oak Capital Management Consultants' Digital Leaders was the third-best performer with a 7.88% return.
The strong PMS performance came as Indian equities had a solid month, with the Nifty rising 2% and the Sensex gaining 1.8%, supported by strong first-quarter earnings despite escalating tensions over the Iran war. As reported by The Economic Times, the broader market outperformed the benchmark indices, with the Nifty Smallcap rising nearly 4% and the Nifty Midcap 100 gaining more than 2%. This broader market strength provided favorable conditions for diversified PMS strategies.
