According to reports from Mint, the state government is considering an early disbursement of the ₹1,500 monthly allowance that typically arrives between the 1st and 15th of each month. While authorities have not issued an official declaration confirming the exact release date, multiple reports indicate the possibility of an early payment to coincide with the festive occasion.
The Ladli Behna Yojana, introduced in 2023, provides ₹1,500 monthly direct financial assistance to eligible women across Madhya Pradesh. As reported by Mint, the scheme serves as a crucial pillar for economic empowerment and has successfully completed 38 prior disbursements. Funds are deposited directly into recipients' bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), completely eliminating intermediate processing steps and ensuring seamless and transparent delivery.
According to the official guidelines reported by Mint, beneficiaries must meet specific eligibility requirements to receive monthly allowances. State residents who are married, unmarried, widowed, or divorced women between 21 and 59 years of age can apply for the scheme. The programme covers women from any social background or category and includes economic constraints where neither the applicant nor any family member can be an active income taxpayer, and total family land ownership must be less than 5 acres.
Beneficiaries can easily verify their enrollment status and track payment history through the official online platform. As reported by Mint, the verification process involves visiting the official Ladli Behna Yojana web portal at https://cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in/, clicking on the 'Application and Payment Status' tab, entering the assigned application reference number or member ID, completing security verification with an OTP sent to the registered mobile number, and clicking the search button to view application records and recent payment details.
