New Delhi-headquartered Synergy Advanced Metals, a stainless steel solutions provider, has received approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to proceed with its fundraising plans through an initial public offering (IPO). According to reports from Moneycontrol, SEBI issued its observations on the company's draft papers on August 13, with the processing status published on August 14. The company had filed its draft offer document through the confidential route in March-April 2026, though details of the proposed IPO size have not been made public.
As reported by Moneycontrol, Synergy Advanced Metals plans to launch a mainboard IPO and list its equity shares on both the BSE and National Stock Exchange. Under the confidential filing route, the issuance of SEBI's observations provides the company with an 18-month window to launch its IPO. After incorporating observations from SEBI and the stock exchanges, the company will have to file an updated Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) for public comments, followed by filing the Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) or an updated version of the Updated Draft Red Herring Prospectus (UDRHP) along with details of the IPO opening dates.
According to Moneycontrol, Synergy Advanced Metals manufactures stainless steel products including wire rods, wire, billets, bright bars, hot-rolled flats and fasteners from scrap at its manufacturing facility in Alwar, Rajasthan. The company's products cater to industries including aerospace, medical devices, renewable energy and precision engineering. Ambit has been appointed as the book-running lead manager for the IPO, with details of other merchant bankers not known as the company used the confidential filing route.
As reported by Moneycontrol, the processing status of draft offer documents shows that 37 companies' draft papers are currently under process with SEBI, including Paras Healthcare, Ratnadeep Retail, Renfra Energy India, Carlsberg India, Swara Baby Products, Emerald Jewels, IFL Finance, Veritas Finance, Encube Ethicals, Assetz and Muthoot Fincorp. SEBI has also sought clarifications from merchant bankers on the draft papers of 21 companies, including Sterlite Electric, Sadbhav Futuretech, Arohan Financial Services, Razorpay Software, National Stock Exchange, Innoterra, TMC Transformer India, Yogiji Digi, MakeMyTrip India, Indian Gas Exchange and Beauty Garage. Additionally, in-principle approvals from stock exchanges are awaited on the draft papers of three companies — Jainam Broking, Punjab Carbonics and Matangi Rubber.
