
Sollfege Smart Electronics shares hit the 5% lower circuit on Thursday amid profit booking at higher levels, shortly after the company made a strong market debut with an almost 90% premium. According to Moneycontrol, the shares were quoted at ₹99.18 per share on the BSE, down 5%, which represents the lowest permissible trading limit for the session. Earlier in the day, the shares made a strong market debut, listing at ₹104.40, a premium of 89.81% over the issue price. The Kolkata-based company, which provides audio, video, home automation and smart living solutions, had raised ₹21.78 crore through an initial share sale of 39.6 lakh shares at a fixed price of ₹55 apiece.
The IPO was subscribed 2.08 times during the three-day bidding period, with investors placing bids for 82.56 lakh shares through 995 applications. According to latest reports, trading in the shares of Dove Soft, Omara Ventures India, Shree TNB Polymers, Sollfege Smart Electronics and SJP Ultrasonics is likely to commence on the BSE SME platform, while Eventions is expected to list on the NSE Emerge platform on October 8. All six companies are likely to finalise their IPO share allotments by October 6. The grey market premium (GMP) has remained ₹10 throughout the subscription period, indicating neutral listing expectations across most issues.
The IPO comprises 39,60,000 equity shares at ₹55 per share, with no offer for sale component. As reported by Investing.com India, the pre-issue share base of 6,040,000 shares expands by 3,960,000 fresh shares to a post-issue share capital base of 100,003,058 shares. The company's pre-issue equity capital stands at ₹6.04 crore with reserves and surplus at ₹5.58 crore. Post-issue, equity capital becomes ₹10.00 crore and reserves and surplus increase to ₹23.40 crore, reflecting fresh premium inflows of ₹17.82 crore net of IPO expenses. The IPO proceeds are structurally tied to launching 12 new showrooms across high-income corridors in West Bengal, Assam, and Haryana to drive geographical diversification. According to BSE SME data, the issue has attracted bids for approximately 69.76 lakh shares compared with 37.60 lakh shares on offer, reflecting cumulative demand across all investor segments.

According to Investing.com India, Lakshmishree Investment & Securities Ltd (LISL) has recommended the SSEL IPO for subscription at ₹55 for a 12-month initial target of ₹100. The company may scale to ₹100 not only by FY27 but may also scale above ₹200 by FY29-30. At the fixed offering price of ₹55 per share, SSEL is valued at a diluted forward P/E multiple of 25.11x relative to its post-issue actual FY26 EPS base of ₹2.19 and a post-issue price-to-Book multiple of 1.64x.
