The continued IPO activity in 2026 reflects strong primary market demand despite secondary market weakness. According to LiveMint data, 220 companies across mainboard and SME segments have successfully listed so far in 2026, adding to the size of the Indian stock market. This follows a record 376 listings in 2025. Of all 2026 IPOs, 136 stocks are trading in profit while 84 are in the red, reflecting an overall average gain of 27.71%.
