
According to reports from Moneycontrol, Prabhudas Lilladher has upgraded its rating on Ingersoll Rand India from 'Accumulate' to 'Buy' with a revised target price of ₹4,589, up from the earlier target of ₹4,271. The brokerage has also revised its FY27E/FY28E EPS estimates by +7.2%/+7.6% respectively, factoring in stronger execution aided by new facility ramp-up, robust order demand and adoption of new products.
As reported by Moneycontrol, Ingersoll Rand India delivered strong quarterly performance with net sales of ₹321.94 crore in September 2025, showing minimal decline of 0.05% YoY. The company's growth was primarily driven by high demand in specific sunrise sectors including semiconductors, electronics, power thermal and solar, and steel sectors. The commissioning of the Sanand facility has enabled a ~1.5x scale-up in manufacturing output, supported by robust order demand from these key industrial sectors.
According to the research report, order intake remains strong, driven by rising adoption of energy-efficient and contamination-free compressed air solutions, customized offerings for complex applications and strong customer relationships. The company is strategically prioritizing oil-free low-pressure solutions, scaling contact-cooled rotary technologies for Tier-2 markets, and driving AGS localization with >90% localization of rotary screw compressors targeted over the next year. The opening of the new manufacturing facility in Sanand, Gujarat, specifically services these mission-critical sectors through high-efficiency air compressors, vacuum technologies, and gas solutions.
As reported by Moneycontrol, the stock is currently trading at a PE of 35.0x/30.1x on FY27/28E estimates. The brokerage values the stock at a PE of 42x Sep'27E, maintaining the same valuation multiple as earlier. The upgrade to 'Buy' reflects confidence in the company's execution capabilities and growth prospects in the industrial compressor solutions market, with the revised target price of ₹4,589 reflecting the strong fundamentals and growth trajectory in the sunrise sectors.
